ABOUT OUR CHURCH

 

Living Word Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), Augustana District. There are currently 352 baptized members.

 

Winter Sundays (After Labor Day):

9:00 AM Adult and Children's Sunday School

9:00 AM Coffee Fellowship

10:00 AM Worship

 

Summer Sundays (Beginning Memorial Day):

9:00 AM Worship

10:00 AM Coffee Fellowship

 

Communion is on the first Sunday of every month and on Festival Sundays. Chapel communion is on the second Sunday.

 

Each summer we participate in an ecumenical Vacation Bible School.

 

Every Thursday at 9 AM, Living Word hosts a Community Coffee Fellowship. Everyone in the community is invited to
the church for coffee and snacks.

 

Women of the Living Word: All women of Living Word Church are considered members and are welcome to become active
or to visit one of our circles which meet monthly for Bible study and fellowship. On the third Tuesday of each month, we have a 7:30 AM and two 9:00 AM circles, as well as one that meets at 7:30 PM.

 

Living Word is on KMSD radio 1510 AM at 8:00 AM every Sunday morning. The broadcast is the recording of the previous Sunday's worship service, which is also available on this website under the media tab.
